[Exploring the narratives hidden behind walls and cities]

Lives Between Walls is a space where stories, architecture, and imagination converge.

Lives Between Walls explores how built form and everyday life shape each other—how the walls we build quietly script the lives within them. Through storytelling and the creative use of emerging tools like AI, the blog reveals the hidden connections between people and the environments they inhabit, tracing atmosphere, memory, and feeling in what Henri Lefebvre describes as “lived space” (Lefebvre, 1991).

SHADOWS OF WUSU — Book Launch Journey Begins

I’ve been carrying this story for a long time.

And now I can finally say it: my novel is on its way.

Shadows of Wusu (a noir love story set in China) is an upcoming book I’m preparing for international publication—and this blog will be where I share the journey as it unfolds.

I don’t have a perfect timeline yet (publishing is… a different kind of animal), but I do have clarity on one thing: this book is happening.

From here on out, I’ll be posting snippets of the process:

  • cover development and visual moodboards
  • teaser images and cinematic concepts
  • behind-the-scenes reflections (the emotional and creative kind)
  • short excerpts and “first look” passages
  • updates as I move through submissions, editing, and production

I’m also going to share pieces of what shaped this book—because this story isn’t just plot. It’s atmosphere. It’s tension. It’s architecture. It’s emotion.

If you’ve been following my writing for a while: thank you.
If you’re new here: welcome. You’re early — and that’s the best place to be.

This is the beginning of the launch journey.
I’ll share what I can, when I can, as honestly as I can.

For now, just know this:

Shadows of Wusu is coming.
And I can’t wait to show you what I’ve been building in the dark.
