I’ve been carrying this story for a long time.
And now I can finally say it: my novel is on its way.
Shadows of Wusu (a noir love story set in China) is an upcoming book I’m preparing for international publication—and this blog will be where I share the journey as it unfolds.
I don’t have a perfect timeline yet (publishing is… a different kind of animal), but I do have clarity on one thing: this book is happening.
From here on out, I’ll be posting snippets of the process:
- cover development and visual moodboards
- teaser images and cinematic concepts
- behind-the-scenes reflections (the emotional and creative kind)
- short excerpts and “first look” passages
- updates as I move through submissions, editing, and production
I’m also going to share pieces of what shaped this book—because this story isn’t just plot. It’s atmosphere. It’s tension. It’s architecture. It’s emotion.
If you’ve been following my writing for a while: thank you.
If you’re new here: welcome. You’re early — and that’s the best place to be.
This is the beginning of the launch journey.
I’ll share what I can, when I can, as honestly as I can.
For now, just know this:
Shadows of Wusu is coming.
And I can’t wait to show you what I’ve been building in the dark.
